NOWHERE S/S 12

Trying my hardest to get on with my dissertation that is due in just 10 days but the new S/S 12 collection from NOWHERE is doing a good job of distracting me! Here are a few of my 'wants'. I'm currently on a  strict saving plan for a move to London so I'll have to be pretty selective in what I choose! I'm thinking the 'Baron' dress at the very top, choosing the colour will have to wait until after this dissertation is handed in though! Lucky I don't have long to go.

Distractions

Thought I'd share my newest wardrobe additions with you all. I ordered these cheap monday shoes a good couple of weeks ago and when they arrived they were HUGE, so after waiting for what seems like forever they finally arrived today in a size that fits perfect. The jacket I treated myself to in Zara last week when I was supposed to be wedding outfit shopping, my least favourite thing to shop for might I add. It was an absolute essential (so I told myself), but I do honestly think it's the perfect summer jacket. Oh and the gold zips on the cuff got me more excited than they should have when I discovered them the other day. I'm easily pleased.

Happy 1st of March! I should be doing dissertation work but instead I'm going to hit you guys up with a well overdue post. Here's a few things that are inspiring me at the minute: Colourful/detailed top knots, distressed tanks/denim, tie dye jeans, beat-up leather, wedge sneakers, gold and silver arm parties.

So Saturday night I had a complete meltdown due to the fact that EVERY single website I went on to purchase the coveted Isabel Marant look-a-likey Ash wedge trainers, had no size 4s left! The next day me and my boyfriend were in Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh, casually browsing the shoe section when we spotted the reason for my sour face the night before! I was close to hugging the lovely assistant when she told me they had them in my size. If your thinking about purchasing them, I honestly can't big them up enough, they look mega and they feel like cushions on your feet, what more do you want! I can't wait to get them on with some denim shorts when the climate gets a bit warmer. I also got this fluorescent knit in the Topshop sale for an absolute steal! Oh and a little denim number that will hopefully resemble something similar to the ACNE jacket in my previous post, after some serious DIY-ing! I LOVE a successful shopping trip!

Summer Essentials

So here's the kind of 'looks' I want to be sporting this Summer. The Acne denim jacket is pretty much my ideal summer cover up! It's a shame I'm on a saving spree and can't justify spending £340 on a denim jacket that is definitely DIY-able. As for the little brown leather number from Topshop, I NEED! Been after one of these for a while now and this one is slightly longer on the body as well, which is exactly what I've been after. The Isabel Marant and Alexander Wang jumpers are just perfection, but I'll probably be buying a slightly more affordable alternative! Moving on to vests, racer back and slightly sheer all the way, and I can't wait to get my paws on some Isabel Marant inspired football jersey motifs. The bronzed Low Luv necklace would be perfect for layering over longer chains and the Elizabeth & James rings, well, you can never have enough rings in my opinion. Finally, those bleached hot pants AGAIN and the Sass & Bide mega, embroidered, silk DREAM shorts would make my summer complete!

Oh and how can I forget the Balenciaga Giant City bag with rose gold hardware. I will own this bad boy one day, and hopefully that day will be in 2012!... I'm not very good at waiting you see.
